Nay Pyi Taw Zoo
The Zoological Garden in Nay Pyi Taw is the biggest zoological garden of its kind in Myanmar. Located just off the Yangon-Mandalay Highway, the zoo covers about 500 acres and is home to 430 animals, representing 81 species.
Water Fountain Garden
The Naypyidaw Water Fountain Garden іs а garden іn Naypyidaw, Myanmar. The 165acre garden іs situated near the Naypyidaw City Hall wіth а steel structure arch-way. Аlsо included іn the garden аre а main pond wіth three fountains inside аnd 11 small ponds wіth 13 different fountains inside, а 30ft high clock tower, nine recreation centres, twо small gardens, twо stone gardens аnd ten feet wide buggy road аnd footpaths. The garden wаs set up near the Naypyidaw-Taungnyo Road.
National Landmark Garden
The National Landmark Garden is a miniature model of the states and regions of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Situated on a 400 acre plot near Thaik-chaung Village in Ze-ya-thi-ri Township, the garden showcases scaled-down versions of the country’s most famous attractions, such as the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, the Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda in Mon State, Mt Khakaborazi in Kachin State, the Ngapali Beach in Rakhine State and the Inlay Lake in Shan State.
Gems Museum
Two sculptures of white elephants stand guard outside the entrance to the Gems Museum where the ground floor is arranged like a market with a variety of jewellery shops. Located upstairs is the museum which houses some amazingly large, uncut precious stones and crafted pieces
Thatta Thattaha Maha Bawdi Pagoda
The replica of Buddha Gaya is the 162 ft high Thatta Thattaha Maha Bawdi Pagoda built on the U-da-ya-yan-thi Hilllock in Pohb-ba-thi-ri Township. Among the variety of places to visit in the vast area of the city just some 10 to 20 minutes’ drive from Nay Pyi Taw are the old towns of Pyinmana and Leway, which offer a wealth of treasures to explore – bustling markets, pagodas and beautiful teak monasteries.
